Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is renowned as one of the most prolific and influential classical composers. But does this celebrated musical figure have any dark and dirty secrets? In an Australian first, the University of Queensland Big Band reveals The other side of mozART.
 
The music was composed and arranged by German composer Markus Geiselhart and involves jazz influenced reinterpretations of Mozart’s works. The UQ Big Band and a string quartet will perform the show joined by a narrator who will present a series of risqué letters that Mozart wrote to his cousin Maria Anna Thekla.

Auditions will be held in the Nickson Room at the UQ School of Music on Wednesday evening 27 February. Audition scores for your instrument and the audition schedule will be available online very soon.
